The Biggest Story Problem

Congratulations to Scott Laidlaw and Jen Lightwood on their new documentary, The Biggest Story Problem: Why America’s Children are Failing at Math. Produced in association with High Desert Digital, The Biggest Story Problem utilized HDD’s cinematography and editing services to convey its message that while math is currently the make-or-break subject for many otherwise good students, there is hope for math education, if its taught a different way. Laidlaw and Lightwood postulate that by finding fun and engaging ways to teach math, ways that make it intuitive and practical, we might be able to save future generations the “X & Y”-related headaches we had to endure.
